Shaped card with flower power Tilda - Three Clovers Designs challenge

Boy am I ever showing my age with that title, huh?? LOL! Isn't she cute? First, before I forget, I've got to give a big shout out to my design team sista Suzy! Suzy has been making these adorable cards with her Nesties. Now I read somewhere a while back that making cards with your nesties was easy. But I had never tried it. But with lots of fabulous inspiration from Suzy, I came home tonight after work and did one. OMG, I love it! Sooooo quick and easy, and I'm a fiend for shaped cards anyway! I will be making lots more of these. I'll tell you that right now! LOL! But for now, this is what I came up with for Three Clovers Thursday Challenge by Kerry over at Three Clover Designs. Her challenge for you this week is to make a shaped card. Any kind of shape as long as it's not a square or rectangle. LOVE that kind of challenge.
I used this adorable Tilda with garland in her hair. I just LOVE her! I know...I know...I love them all...but I really do LOVE her! LOL! I also used the cute butterfly background stamp that is from the Chasing Butterflies collection. So cute! The stamps are colored with my Copic markers (pic below). All of this is available at Magnolia-licious!

Also did a quick faux chipboard word of "hi" with my Sesame Street Font cartridge with my Cricut Expression. Did a very simple decoration for the inside of the card too. This little cutie will be up for sale in my etsy shop if you're interested.

That's it for this one. Very quick and easy! Whatcha think?? Be sure and visit Three Clovers Designs to check out the challenge and the wonderful examples from the awesome Inspiration Team. Thanks lots for stopping by to see me tonight, and I sure hope to see you again soon! Have a fabulous weekend!!!! Big hugs!

Graduation word book

This was made for a friend and cohort that I work with. It's for her daughter that is graduating from High School this year. I've been working on this for a while, so I'm very relieved to finally have it finished. WHEW!!! I cut the word book with my Pazzle and word book cd which I purchased from Hallmark Scrapbook. All the DP is the FABULOUS Basic Grey Lime Rickey line. I fell in love with it and felt it would be perfect for this. I hope they agree. :) It's all put together with my Bind-it-all.

I used several Martha Stewart border punches throughout. The backgrounder stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I also used my Nestabilities almost all the way through it.

B was cut with my Cricut Expression. the 4 and the swirl are BG Lime Rickey chipboard.

These stamps are by Kim Hughes, colored with copics.

The ladybug and bee friends is a stamp from Stampendous colored with my Copic markers.

skull and crossbones is from Life is a Beach cartridge, rose is from Indie Art.

Stamp is a downloadable freebie from Dustin Pike colored with copics. The rain clouds are from a Magnolia stamp. Sentiment for this cute bee was computer generated.

camera and flash is from Locker Talk cartridge, the label for the little album is from Fabulous Finds, and the word fun was cut with the Sesame Street Font cartridge.

All of these cuts were from the LIfe is a Beach cartridge. The umbrella was made into faux chipboard by cutting six of them and gluing together.

The clear envies and file folders are by Rob and Bob Studio, and the family stamps are some that have nothing with them to tell me who made them. Sorry about that!

That's it! That's what I've been working on for weeks in my free time from work. I hope they enjoy it! Whatcha think?? Thanks for stopping by to visit me today, and I sure hope you come back to see me again soon! HUGS!
OH! Today is the day for a new challenge by Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs. I wasn't able to participate this week, even though I really wanted to. But please be sure and pop over there to find out what the new challenge is for this week! It's a fun one. I promise you'll love it!

Dreaming of home...Tilda by Magnolia

Happy Friday everyone! And a long weekend on top of it! Does it get much better?? I put this card together with some awesome stamps I got from Diana at Magnolia-licious! Isn't it fun? This cute house stamp will soon be available, so keep an eye out for it! It's very country, and I wanted to carry that theme through the card. So I picked this cute little Tilda with bow sitting sideways, cause I felt she fit right in with the country theme. And then I just HAD to put her on the log!

The tree and grass were cut with my Cricut Expression machine, which I got from Hallmark Scrapbook. The stamps are all colored with my Copic markers (there's a pic below). I used my Copic airbrush system with baby blue to color in the sky after masking off the house.

Here's a pic of the inside. The DP is by Daisy D's which I've had for at least one year, maybe more..... But I still love it. LOL! Cardstock is Bazzill. I really do like how this one turned out. Whatcha think?

That's it for today! I hope you like my little countyfied Tilda! Oh my gosh! LOL!!! Ya gotta LOVE mistakes you find after all the pics are taken and posted on the blog. Well...we'll just see if YOU notice it. heehee I will say that I'm going right now to fix it! LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by to visit, and I sure hope you're enjoying the three day weekend! Please come back and see me again soon! HUGS!

I am soooo tired of seeing "operation aborted"!!!!!!!

I don't know what is going on with blogger and Internet Explorer, but I am soooo sick of trying to access blogs, only to have that error message pop up, and then it kicks me out! GRRRRRR!!!! And if I keep trying, then it goes into this mode where it opens up a thousand windows before I can shut the stupid thing down. VERY frustrating!!! Anyway, I'm sorry I haven't been able to visit and comment on your blogs this week! It sure hasn't been because I haven't tried! I hope they get this fixed soon. If I don't get to visit you today, I wanted to at least say have a wonderful weekend!
hugs!

If you want the rainbow.... with Tilda by Magnolia

Well...we're half way through the work week, and some of us have a 3 day weekend coming up. WOOHOO!!! I came home yesterday to a happy mail day!! YAY! I got my order of Chasing Butterflies stamps from Diana at Magnolia-licious! Thanks so much Diana!! I couldn't help myself, I had to immediately ink up this adorable little Tilda in a spring rain!!
The DP that is the card base is Basic Grey, everything else is scraps that I have no idea who made them. Sorry! I stamped Tilda twice, and popped up portions of her for dimension. I colored her with my copic markers (pic below).

That beautiful flower that is in the middle of th ribbon...that was in a wonderful bag of extra goodies that Diana put in my order! I LOVE it! Thanks yet again, Diana! It was perfect for this card!

The swirl is from a Sizzix die that I got from Hallmark Scrapbook. I also used some dew drops that I purchased from Ellen Hutson. That green button is from Basic Grey with some embroidery floss all tied up in a little bow.

Here's a peek at the inside. I LOVE this sentiment, and it just goes so perfectly with this cute Tilda!

That's it for now. Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today, and hope to see you back again soon! Have a wonderful day! HUGS!

I am giving away the set "All About Mom"!!! This is a HUGE set that contains soooo many stamps, and they are of course "All About Mom"! They range from any day sentiments like "Let's do lunch" to "Happy Birthday" to Mother's Day. I think you'll really love them, I know I sure do! For this card, I used a beautiful poem from the set that was written by one of our very own Bitten By The Bug designers, Rene'! Isn't that cool?
The challenge this week is to use this frame from the Storybook cartridge. I used Basic Grey paper from the Boxer line and added some Kaiser rhinestones and pearls. The frame is popped up off the card base for dimension. I hope you like it, cause it's the second part of the candy. The winner will also receive this card.

Crosstitch Tilda - Friday Sketchers and Copic Creations challenge

Ok, I cheated with this one. I was making the card for Friday Sketchers, and then thought, well heck, why not give her blonde hair and cover the Copic Creations challenge that's going on right now too! So that's exactly what I did.

This cute little Crosstitch Tilda is from Magnolia-licious. Diana has the greatest selection of Magnolia stamps in the US. She also offers free shipping on orders over 50 dollars. And what if your order is under 50 dollars you ask?? Shipping is only 2.50!!! That's a drop in the bucket compared to other shipping charges these days!!

The paper I used is Cosmo Cricket Twist and Shout line. I think it goes perfectly with this Crosstitch Tilda. cardstock is Bazzill. I colored Tilda with my copic markers. A pic of them is at the end of the post.
I cut the circles with my Nestabilites and added some machine stitching too. I love the feel stitching gives to a card.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by to visit! It is very much appreciated!! Enj0y the rest of your weekend! HUGS!

Peggy Loves Vintage - Sweet Little Girls

Seriously....does it get any cuter than this?? LOL! I am really loving these vintage images from Peggy Loves Vintage!! Of course I love Peggy more, but...well.....you know.... hehe (Peggy is my sister). Anyway, she has added some images in a little different way to her etsy shop.

You can now purchase a "sheet" of images and immediately download them to your computer. And these are from her Sweet Little Girls sets. What do you think? Do you love them as much as I do????

I simply printed them onto my cardstock, cut them out, and mounted them on scalloped frames which I cut with my Expression and Storybook cartridge. Easy enough for you? This little girl printed out just a little bigger than I expected for the scalloped frame I had. So I simply cut her out and popped her up for dimesion. I LOVE her ringlets!!!!

I used a new Fiskars border punch across the bottom, with just another little strip of paper that I cut with my decorative scissors. (GASP!) I can't believe I used them!

The pink DP is by My Mind's Eye, and the blue if from Imaginisce. Cardstock is Bazzill.

I left them blank thinking they would be adorable for just about any kind of occasion. These are "tent topper" cards, and are a standard A2 card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). You simply cut your card base out at 4 1/4" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4" down the long edge, which makes your card base measure 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". Then simply attach your topper onto your base, so that it sticks up off the top of the base by 1 1/4", taking the heigth of your card to 5 1/2". Easy peasy!

Please be sure and visit Peggy Loves Vintage. If you love images from old vintage cards, you are going to love her products!

Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hope you have a fabulous weekend! It's going to be in the 90's here this weekend. What happened to spring??? HUGS!
